Well done, you had to release one of your starting offensive lineman to jump from $1.8 million to $6.3 million. Hope that replacement is capable of stepping up to the job of protecting Matty. -

Truthfully
Im very concerned about that ? but our run-blocking on his side of the field was awful last year. Might as well pay a youngster next to nothing to do nothing than pay a vet 4.5 mill to do nothing.
You're not a running team anymore remember?

*walks in ? ass thread ready to make some Aints fans catch feels...
Nevermind. Numbaz already dundun it all.

Right but we do want to run every now and then. Last year we couldnt couldnt convert 3rd and 1 becuz defenders were in the backfield before the rb got the ball. We're trying to fix that or at least not overpay players that wont help us fix that.
So you sacrifice a pass protector to achieve that goal when throwing the football is your new identity now?
*Advantage opposing defenses*

His 2012 performance ranked 14th among 80 tackles and fifth-best among right tackles, behind Andre Smith, Gosder Cherilus, Anthony Davis and Sebastian Vollmer.
Clabo, 6-6 and 329 pounds, was ranked 23rd in pass protection (he allowed five sacks) and 21st in run blocking last year.

These quotes from this article tends to rewrite your entire assessment of what type player Clabo was and highlights the REAL reason why ya'll released him. -

Yea, its no doubt that he was released due to cap reasons. Think back to that Saints' game though. 3rd & 1.....yo defense was in the backfield on his side of the ball. That happens more often than not throughout the season. Between him and Turner, our running game........what running game?
I'll just trust the journalist from the Miami Herald and Pro Football Focus and leave it at that...

This dude does not look like a rush 3-4 "Jack" linebacker. -
I think all this arguing about your boy leaving can be stop with the mention of 'The Franchise tag'.
Jimmy Graham will be franchised before the Saints just let him leave. Plain and simple. He is the highest profile player next year up for a contract.
And yes the Falcons have 6.3 million in cap space after June 1st. They trying to short change Seymour on that d-line to play this year. He seems to not want to play for chump change. -
“We’re playing this young kid from Tarleton State and changing positions is the first thing he doing,” Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said. “He has got a lot on his plate but talent-wise and physicality, this kid is going to be good.”

I hope everyone is keeping an eye on this guy. Him, Will Smith, and Junior Galette are competing for the "Jack" outside linebacker position. I'd be shocked and utterly disappointed if Will Smith fat ass wins that position. -
I heard we doing a lot of two back formations.

Who been getting the first team reps at LT?
I ain't been hearing nothing about that. -

Charles Brown and Terron Armstead has been alternating. It's only a matter of time before Charles go on IR though. -
Victor Butler is out for the season now thanks to Mark Ingram trying so hard to prove that he's an NFL running back in OTAs? SMFH

? happens.
And I'm tired of everybody saying we should have kept Ivory.
He was gon want money and he stays hurt can't catch or pass block.
-
How Falcons fans gonna come in here talking ? , at least when we went to The Super Bowl we won.

Aint this yo 2nd or 3rd favorite team or some ? ? Lol You dont count ? .
part time ass ? .
Whatever ? lol -
Victor Butler getting hurt is ? up. He was supposed to be the big acquisition. The OLB that put us over the edge. In the end, The DE will be the strength of this team. Hopefully the young guys will be pleasant surprises for this coming season.
Question should they go get another option or wait to see who gets cut in training camp. -

Nakia Hogan with the Times-Pic saying the team may move David Hawthorne or Chris Chamberlain over to that position to compete with Martez because that position also drops in coverage alot more than the "Jack". I don't think either of those guys are also capable of rushing the passer though. -

-
Damn they have to of my favorites on that list as overrated, WOW.
Pat Swilling and Bobby Herbert.
I did everything I could to be like Pat Swilling in high school. By far my favorite Saint of all time.
Also no Eric Martin. WTF! He is underrated.

Probably couldnt outrun a Quadriplegic rolling up hill but he always got open. -
The former New Orleans Saints wideout totaled just 14 catches in 15 games in 2012 after signing a four-year, $25.9 million contract. He's arguably last year's worst free-agent signing.
Should have stayed in the Big Easy//
? was all good just a couple years ago
no doubt he would have been the Number 2 WR this year. With Toon, Morgan, and Stills fighting for PT -
Name: Anthony "Tony" Stark
Position: Offensive Coordinator
Strength: Scientific genius
NFL Counterpart: Sean Payton
Whoever wrote this needs to be fired ASAP//
no way he didn't know SP is a HC, and if so... ? needs to get axed -
Brees started off rusty again. the D loves the agressive style. Harper is better when he is down hill.
